II Concorso Internazionale Mandolinistico di Osaka
per composizioni solistiche ed ensemble

Category A      Composition of 8 to 12 minutes for unaccompanied mandolin solo

Categoria A    Composizione da 8 a 12 minuti per mandolino solo non accompagnato

Category B      Composition of 8 to 12 minutes for mandolin ensemble of 5 to 6 parts

                           which are two mandolin parts, mandola-tenor, guitar and double bass

                           with optional mandoloncello.
Categoria B    Composizione da 8 a 12 minuti per ensemble mandolinistico da 5 a 6 parti
                           ovvero 2 mandolini, mandola tenore, chitarra e contrabbasso
                           con mandoloncello opzionale

Schedule         Application period : July 1 to 15, 2006 
Programma Invio adesioni: dal 1° al 15 luglio 2006

                          Preliminary screening will be conducted through the examination of music scores

                          and the result will be announced on August 1 through web site.

                         Una selezione preliminare sarà condotta tramite l'esamne delle partiture musicali
                         ed il risultato sarà annunciato il 1° agosto tramite il sito internet.
                         Final competition for category A - Concorso finale per la categoria A: 
                          October 8, 2006 at The Phoenix Hall in Osaka

                          8 ottobre 2006 alla "The Phoenix Hall" a Osaka
                    Final competition for category B -  Concorso finale per la categoria B:
                          October 9, 2006 at The Phoenix Hall in Osaka

                                9 ottobre 2006 alla "The Phoenix Hall" a Osaka

Prize            1st Place: 200,000 Yen       2nd Place: 100,000 Yen     3rd Place: 50,000 Yen

Premi           I classificato: 1.409,08 Euro - II classificato: 704,84 Euro - III classificato: 352,42

Judges         There will be nine judges including composer, director and guitar player.

                      chitarristi

Application Fee  10,000 Yen

Notes           ・Works must not be published or played before this competition.

                      ・Entrants are not allowed to apply two or more music for one category however,

　　　　　　  they can apply one music for each category respectively.

                      ・Music scores must be sent by post. 

Note                 Le opere non devono essere state pubblicate, nè eseguite prima del concorso.
                          I partecipanti non potranno presentare più di una composizione per categoria.
                          Le composizioni devono essere spedite per posta.
